What is your return policy?

If you don’t love a MERIT product purchased from our website for any reason, we are happy to issue an exchange or refund for products within 30 days of delivery. While we're happy to refund or exchange your product, we are unfortunately unable to refund shipping charges. Please see our Terms of Service for additional details about our return policy. We are unable to accept any returns past 30 days.

Please note that we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for products purchased in Sephora stores and on Sephora websites. Please visit the Sephora website to review their return policy or visit a Sephora store.

How do I start a return or exchange?

To start a return, simply click this link to view your orders and follow the prompt to complete your return. Do not use if you would like to make an exchange.

Kindly note, we are unable to accept returns for products sold as part of a set. If you would like to keep some of the products in a set, we would be happy to exchange for an item of equal or lesser value.

How long does it take to process a refund?

If your request is approved, refunds are processed within 3 business days of receipt. We initiate the refund instantly on our end, but depending on your bank's policy, please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to reflect on your account.

What's the status of my order?

You can check your order status from the orders page on your account. Please allow 24 hours for the order information to be updated. Once shipped, you can track your order as it makes it way to you. Email us at if you have any questions.

Can I make changes to my order?

At this time, we will be unable to make any changes or edits to any orders – this includes the shipping address. Please make sure to review your information before completing your order. 

Can I change the shipping address on my order?

Unfortunately, we cannot update the address on an order after it has been placed. In the event that your order is returned to us, we are happy to send a replacement or provide a refund.

Please note that we cannot refund or replace orders that have been delivered to the address originally provided.

How do I cancel my order?

At this time, we are unable to cancel any orders once they are placed on Make sure to check your order details and shipping information before processing your order.

How do I get a MERIT bag?

Every first order from ships with the MERIT Signature Bag for free.

Each order thereafter ships in Green Cell Foam, a cornstarch derivative that you can dissolve in water or compost.

Do you offer gift cards?

At this time, we do not offer gift cards.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit cards and debit cards. We also accept PayPal (US and Canada only), Apple Pay, AfterPay (US and Canada Only), and ShopPay. We are unable to accept prepaid gift cards, checks, or money orders.

Where do you ship?

We ship to the continental U.S. as well as Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Canada, and the UK. Please note: You may experience slightly longer delivery times when shipping internationally or to Hawaii, Alaska, as well as APO addresses and U.S. territories. 

We do not accept orders that are shipped to P.O. boxes or freight forwarders. We do not deliver to freight forwarding addresses.

What shipping couriers do you use?

We currently ship with DHL, FedEx 2-Day, and USPS.

Do you offer free shipping?

Standard shipping is free for all orders $40 USD or more in the United States, $50 CAD or more in Canada (pre-tax and shipping costs) and £50 GBP or more in the UK (pre-tax and shipping costs). For orders under $40 USD, flat fee shipping is $8. For orders under $50 CAD, flat fee shipping is $15. For orders under £50 GBP, standard shipping fee is £12 and expedited shipping is £15. 

When will my order arrive?

All MERIT, including expedited orders, are processed within 1-3 business days – orders will then be shipped at the speed selected. We do not ship on weekends or major holidays. Kindly note that all delivery timelines are subject to change.

US Standard shipping requires 3-5 business days for delivery and expedited shipping requires 1-3 business days for delivery, after processing.

CAN Standard shipping requires 3-8 business days of delivery and expedited shipping requires 2-5 business days for delivery, after processing.

UK Standard shipping requires 10 -12 business days for delivery and expedited shipping requires 5-7 business days for delivery, after processing. Please allow additional time for tracking to be updated by Evri.

Once the carrier accepts and scans your package, the tracking information sent via email/phone will be updated and given an estimated arrival date for your package. Please note it may take 24-48 hours for tracking to be updated by the shipper.

What is AfterPay?

AfterPay is a shopping service (and app) that allows you to make a purchase today and pay for it later with four equal installments, every two weeks, interest-free. It's available on all orders $35 and above. It is only available in the United States.

How do I receive a refund if I used AfterPay?

Refunds for returned products will be issued through AfterPay. If you're returning a portion of an order placed with AfterPay and have more questions, check out this article.

How do I make a purchase using AfterPay?

Shop for your favorites on and proceed to checkout. At checkout simply choose AfterPay as your payment method. You'll be taken to to create an account and finalize your purchase. Note: Orders must be between $35 and $1,000 in order to be eligible for AfterPay.

What happens if I miss an AfterPay payment?

If there are insufficient funds in your account and a payment is missed, you may be subject to late fees. You can view the AfterPay payment agreement here.
